To convert to anti-aliased art, proceed to Step 5. pixels with the Eraser tool. Convert the file to Grayscale (Image > Mode > Grayscale); then click OK in the dialog box that pops up (you want the default Size Ratio of 1). Open the Layers panel (Window > Layers)—you must double-click on the lock to make the artwork editable. Name the layer as desired. To continue working with un-anti-aliased art: Go to Photoshop > Preferences > General and set the Image Interpolation to Nearest Neighbor (Preserve Hard Edges) (Figure 3).
